A divey, laid-back gay bar beloved by its clientele of (mostly) 35-and-older gay men, the Woodshed is a hangout with a casual Southern spirit. With a dim, working-class interior enlivened not only by Bud Light neon signage but also by a disco ball, the Woodshed houses two pool tables, two bars and an Internet jukebox playing more 150,000 tunes. Weekly fun for gay guys in jeans and T-shirts includes a pool tournament, a free Sunday buffet, and $1-$2 drink specials. Slightly less frequent (and much wilder) fun includes Bear Night, underwear parties, bachelor auctions and even a chili cook-off. The Shed is a members-only club; memberships (available to those 21 and over) are a mere five bucks. Guests are $2 when signed in by a member.

My favorite Bar on Chippewa
Reasonable cover . Lots of room in the bar. There is a huge dance floor down stairs but you can get away from if and upstairs where it is more relaxed and has a nice balcony with a nice view of the road. Plus you have access to the bar nextdoor which is nice too.
