Good Neighborhood Bar!
Review rating 4 out of 5
By spiderman0079 on 12/12/2007
I just moved in nearby, and I like this place. The staff is friendly and welcoming. There is a great selection of beers on tap. And the food is uncommonly good for a bar. So far everything I've ordered has been tasty. The appetizers have generous portions, enough for a light meal (with beer of course!). Although it's a sports bar, it doesn't have an overwhelmingly sports bar feel. You'll find all types there. On the con side, the wait staff is a bit slow when it comes to getting your order or getting you the check. (Once you have the order in, the food generally comes fast). I'm not sure I can recommend this as a quick lunch place. As an evening hangout, it's one of my favorites.  More Reviews

You Can't Beat an ICON!!
Review rating 4 out of 5

When I lived in Rockville area in the 70's and 80's, one of the classic lay-back bars was old Hank Dietles's. The price is right, the booths are cozy/funky, and the you just can beat the juke box. Whether having a friend out for a drink or having a little affair and you don't want ANYBODY to find you, well, Hank Dietle's is the place. Rock on..... Stefanie Southern California  More Reviews

Outstanding
Review rating 5 out of 5

Surrounded by up and coming young professionals and great drinks. The music was outstanding on both floors. The DJ Downstairs was DJ Pat Premier spinning some great music and seem to be in touch with the crowd. The promoters did an outstanding job of making you feel welcome. (DChotspot.com) I would definitely go back.  More Reviews
